Explore Colorado Springs in a unique, fun way!

The whole world is in chaos. Go on an interactive scavenger hunt style game through downtown Colorado Springs.

YOUR MISSION: Zombies outnumber the living 10 to 1 and small colonies are struggling to survive. You need to go downtown and using your smartphone with the game app, scavenge for survival supplies and complete zombie themed challenges.

You'll have 60 minutes to test your ability to survive a Zombie Apocalypse in Colorado Springs!

Beginning at the front steps of City Hall, you’ll take pictures of the survival items given to you on the app. The more you find, the more points you’ll earn and increase your chances of survival. Also. along the way, you will be asked to answer some trivia questions and do some zombie style challenges for which you will be more rewarded points.

It won't be easy! Zombies are relentless. Rival colonies are closing in, and they will take what you worked hard to find.

If you are playing in a larger group, you can divide into teams. Play against each other to see who finds all the survival items first! You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.

Zombie Scavenger hunt is a self-guide sightseeing tour that will introduce you to places in Colorado Spring you may never have found out about.

How it works:

• Zombie Scavengers is an app-led interactive scavenger hunt game played with your smartphone.
• Once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate, registration intructions will be provided to you.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to your starting location in downtown Colorado Springs on the day / time you want to play, and follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• You won’t be alone. Your remote host/guide will be monitoring your progress via the App every step of the way. You can chat with them on the App throughout the game to receive hints, tips and help if you need it.

What's included:

• Self-guided scavenger hunt style walking activity.
• 1 hour with a remote interactive survival guide.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger customer support hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-5pm.
• If you'd like, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The optimum group size is between 4 and 6 people.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done through your smartphone.
• Once you locate an item, all you need to do is take a picture to prove you found it. You do not have to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• To play the game you will need an iOS or Android Smartphone with data plan.
• The game is played in public spaces outdoors.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore the city on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
